“Dr. Bawumia is peddling falsehood if he tells you the Pokuase Interchange is Akufo-Addo’s project” – Felix Ofosu Kwakye

The former Deputy Information Minister who is also NDC’s Parliamentary candidate for the Abora Asebu Kwamankese constituency, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu has said that the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be peddling falsehood if he says that the Pokuase interchange was constructed under Nana Akufo Addo.

The vice President of the Republic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on 18th of August 2020 at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences made a presentation where he outlined the infrastructural achievements of the Nana Akufo Addo led Government

However, after Dr. Bawumia’s presentation, the former deputy information minister has indicated that the current Government under the leadership of President Nana Akufo Addo cannot claim credit for  constructing Pokuase Interchange.

According to Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Dr. Bawumia will simply peddling falsehood because, the funding for the construction of the interchange which costs $83 million was secured and work started under the previous National Democratic Congress Government in 2016.

In a tweet, Mr. Felix Ofosu Kwakye said;

“If Bawumia tells you the Pokuase
Interchange is Akufo-Addo’s project,he is simply peddling falsehood.This is me announcing the approval of the loan for it in 2016.”
