Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s Wife: Meet Samira Bawumia

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the 7th Vice President of the 4th Republic of Ghana. He is an experienced banker and an economist who have served in many vital positions.

Dr. Bawumia holds a PhD in Economics and his areas of specialization include Macroeconomics, International Economics, Development Economics and Monetary Policy.

Between 1988 and 1990, Dr. Bawumia worked at the Emile Woolf College of Accountancy in London, England as a lecturerer of Monetary Economics.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was once a deputy governor of the Bank of Ghana and prior to that, he was an economist at the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington DC, USA.
