The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, on thusrsday, visited Osu Presbyterian Senior High School in the Greater Accra Region. This exercise is part of his surprise visit to various schools in the Country to check how teaching and learning is effective in our various schools.
“I inspected most of the classrooms while lessons were ongoing and I shared lessons from my life experiences and that of other great personalities like Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Barrack Obama, and many others with the students and encouraged them to study hard and excel regardless of their various backgrounds,” he wrote.

He encouraged them to study hard and announced a one-year pre-tertiary engineering program for students with non-science backgrounds who wish to pursue engineering.
The Minster also added that, “I pledged to furnish some classrooms with paints and louver blades to make it a convenient learning environment for students and also provide textbooks for efficient learning.”
