ECG announces planned maintenance works in the Volta Region

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned maintenance works aimed at improving service delivery in the region. The maintenance is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 17th January, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
During this period, several areas will be affected by the maintenance exercise. The areas include Hedzranawo, Adafianu, Adina, Havedzi, Agorko, Kedzi, Fievie, Adidokpui, WAFA, Bakpa, Adidome, Kpogede, Akyemfo, and the surrounding regions.
The ECG recognizes that this maintenance work may cause inconvenience to residents and businesses in the affected areas. However, the company assures its customers that the temporary disruption is necessary to enhance the overall quality of service.
ECG regrets any inconveniences that may arise as a result of this exercise and urges affected customers to bear with them during the maintenance period. The company is working diligently to minimize the duration of the maintenance and restore electricity supply as soon as possible.
The ECG encourages customers to take precautionary measures such as switching off electrical appliances and equipment during the maintenance period to protect them from power fluctuations or potential damage.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make alternative arrangements to meet their electricity needs during the maintenance hours.
