On July 30, 2024, Edna Asare was elected as the Secretary of the Education Students Association of Ghana (ESAG-UCC) in an keenly contested election.

Garnering an impressive 92% of the votes, Edna’s victory underscores the overwhelming support from her peers within the association at the University of Cape Coast.

Edna, a Level 200 student, has already demonstrated her leadership capabilities in various roles.

She has served as the Deputy Clerk of the UCC SRC Parliamentary Board and the Secretary to the ESAG-UCC Judicial Committee.

Her extensive experience and dedication to student governance have undoubtedly contributed to her landslide victory.

In her new role, Edna aims to enhance communication within ESAG-UCC and promote educational initiatives that will benefit all members.
