UCC Elects Barbara Nti Nkansah as First Female LNUGS President

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has made history by electing Barbara Nti Nkansah, popularly known as “BARBIE,” as the first female president of the Local National Union of Ghana Students (LNUGS).

A Level 400 Bachelor of Education in Science student and an affiliate of Atlantic Hall, Barbara’s election marks a significant stride in gender equality and student empowerment at UCC.

Barbara’s rise to leadership is a testament to her visionary approach and commitment to addressing students’ pressing needs.
