The Commercial Manager at GhanaWeb and Veteran actor, Ekow Blankson, is reported dead.

The sudden demise of Ekow Blankson was announced on Monday, October 3, 2022. Ekow Blankson died at age 50.

Ekow Blankson died at 50 years of age. He was born on 16th March, 1972.

Ekow Blankson worked with Media General as the Director of Brands and Corporate Communications.

He was popular and starred in movies like Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party, Famous and others.

Ekow Blankson had a Masters Degree in Fine Arts and a Diploma in Theatre Arts (Drama) from the University of Ghana, Legon.

He also graduated from the Heineken Global Commerce University, Amsterdam with a marketing certificate.

Until his untimely death, Ekow Blankson was working as the Commercial Manager for GhanaWeb apart from the other jobs he does.

Ekow Blankson had also worked with four multinational companies including Ghana Breweries Limited, a subsidiary of Heineken; Coca-Cola; Vodafone, and Water Health International in various leadership roles.

He has also worked with media companies including TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited, and Multimedia Broadcasting Company as Managing Director, Director of Brands and Corporate Communications, and General Manager (Luv FM and Nhyira FM) respectively. He was also the Director of Strategy and Corporate Communications at the conglomerate Groupe Ideal.

Veteran actor, Ekow Blankson died on Monday, October 3, 2022.

Though, the exact cause of his death is not disclosed, sources have confirmed that, he was unwell for sometimes now.
