The flagbearer of the opposition Convention Peoples Party lawyer Ivor Kobina Greenstreet says he believes every
discussion about National development must start with farming.
Lawyer Ivor Kobina Greenstreet made these comments in a message to all Farmers in the country as the country celebrated farmers day on Friday, November 4, 2020.
In a post on his officially verified Facebook Page, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet who is optimistic that he will emerge President in the upcoming December Presidential election indicated that “a Convention Peoples Party government will guarantee market and fair prices for a wide range of food and cash crops and issue a moratorium on importation of chicken and rice.”
In a series of facebook posts Ivor Kobina Greenstreet wrote:

– Ivor Kobina GreenstreetAgricultural sustainability is possible in our country. A CPP government will guarantee market and fair prices for a wide range of food and cash crops and issue a moratorium on importation of chicken and rice.
FARMERS DAY IN GHANA
National Farmers’ Day in Ghana is celebrated on the first Friday of December each year to honour and pay respect to Farmers in the country.
However, during election years, the celebration has been moved from the first Friday of December to the first Friday in November.
