Dela Radio morning show in the early hours of Thursday, 5th November, 2020 presented a cash donation of two 0000 cedis (GH¢2,000) and assorted items to triplet orphans who lost their mother three weeks after their birth at Mafi-Kpedzeglo in the Central Tongu District of the volta region.

According to the morning show Host Christopher Pappoe who is popularly in known on radio as “Country wailer”, he was touched by the news that a lady has passed on three weeks after delivering of her beautiful triplets. When the morning show co-host Emekor Amedzro visited the family earlier, she found out that the lady was discharged from the hospital and was doing well until she reported of short breath at night . “We called her Doctor who requested we rush her to the hospital which we did but the Doctor said Madam Charlotte Amewu had died before we  arrived”, an aunty to the triplets narrated.

“With the help of our CEO Mr Kofi Abotchie, and support from our listeners across the region, we were able to to raise the money and the items for this beautiful souls. The Bible made it clear in James 1:26-27 that giving alms to widows and orphans is what God considers as pure religion and we’re only following the teachings of good moral.”  Mr Christopher Pappoe told.

Some of the items donated were Diapers, bar and powdered soups, power zone, antiseptics, Milo and evaporated milk, Baby wipes.

The morning show is therefore appealing to the general public to help donate to the upbringing of the triplet in kind and in cash through the Mobile money number 0247025748.
