The renowned Ghanaian football known for his goal-scoring and dedication to the national team, Ghana Black Star, Tony Yeboah has described the current state of Ghana’s football as “dead” due to a reason he disclosed.

In a radio interview, the Former Black Star striker, Tony Yeboah communicated his dissatisfaction with how the authorities of the national team have damaged the team with their interests to the detriment of listening and paying attention to the advice of former players.

Tony Yeboah in his statement said he does not follow the national team anymore because the authorities do not want to listen to advice from former players.”

“I don’t know what is going on because I don’t follow. Everyone knows Ghana football is dead because they didn’t listen to the advice we gave them from the beginning. So I think they are currently facing the punishment. If you involve bribes and stuff like that in football, you will destroy the game.”

Even though he said he does not follow the national team anymore, his dedicated heart and instincts still follow the team so he once again gave them the little advice he can.

“The only advice I can give them is that they should go back and train the kids for youth (football) and develop Colts football either than that it will be difficult to get top players like we used to have back in the day. It will be very difficult.”
