Born on May 7, 1987, Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona, Nkoranza, Bono Ahafo region of Ghana is a Ghanaian Songwriter, Rapper, Performer and Fashion designer. In the entertainment sphere, he’s widely called Guru.
For uniqueness, he added Nkoranza “Nkz” to his name.
EDUCATION
He commenced his education at Rev. John Teye Memorial School.

He proceeded to NIIT and IPMC to study Architecture and Computer Networking.
Later, he furthered his education at Zenith College in Ghana where he studied Marketing.
In 2021 December, he announced his admission into the University of Ghana to offer Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
MUSIC CAREER
Guru always have the desire to buzz to the world with this act. He started doing music since childhood. He performed at the Miss SSS Pageant way back in his Secondary School days.
After buzzing to the world in his little way, he had another lift. Guru performed on a radio programme dubbed “Kasahari” hosted by Dr. Duncan.
On Hot fm, he partake in Upper Jnr.’s “Rap Attack” radio programme.
He won the slot “WAPPI Talent Discovery”, 2008 which was organised the Underground Music Artiste at the British Council.
In 2009, Guru worked with producer NT1 on his mixtape video in collaboration with the Highest, Sarkodie.

PROPER BUZZ
Guru featured on the all-day going rap of Obrafuor “Kasiebo”
Afterwards, “Platform” was birthed as his first studio album. He featured music sharks like; Kwabena Kwabena & Sarkodie including other colleague artistes. The Album had 6 nominations in total.
He took over the air waves in 2011 with his popular and household single hit dubbed “Lapaz Toyota”
The song did a magic. He won the Best Male Act with “Lapaz Toyota” at City People Entertainment Awards.
Myriad of music lovers played his record at pubs, events, and political gatherings.
Fast forward, he released another banger “Karaoke” Karaoke is a kick starter for the masses.
In the year 2013, Guru gave the world a classic frame of combined sounds like: Amen, Azonto Boys which featured ‘Ghana Lil Win’, Nkawda Nkwada, Alkayida,
Due to the lyrical content coupled with the nature of the economy in 2013, the song got massive plays.
In 2021, Guru released numerous singles including “Who born dog”.
Nkz Guru till date is a legend but they don’t celebrate. It’s the wish of the fans and hearts to feel his lyrical dexterity, rhyme, flow, timing, melodious and carefully blend of sounds.
