Fair Wages and Salaries Commission invites representatives for 2024 Base Pay Negotiations
The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) has invited representatives for Base Pay Negotiations.
In an official invitation dated 10th November 2023 signed by the Director for Grievances and Negotiations, Prof. Charles A. Oppong, the Commission has called on representatives of the Government Team and Labour Union /Association to a meeting.

The slated meeting will take on Monday 13th November, 2023.

The meeting as announced will commence at 2:00 pm.

Per the invitation, the meeting will be held at the MELR Conference Room.
FWSC details of 2023 increased Base PayÂ
Upon series sittings for negotiations, the FWSC and representatives have agreed on a fair increment. Below is the agreed rise for 2023 Base Pay and the full Terms of Agreement as released by FWSC.
Terms of Agreement
1. That, the Base Pay on the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) has been increased by 30% across board for the year 2023 at the existing pay point relativity of 1.7 percent.
2. That, the effective date for the implementation of the 2023 Base Pay shall be 1st January, 2023.
IN WITNESS whereof the Parties herein have set their names and hands this 12th day of January, 2023.
