This year’s Father’s Day was celebrated across the globe to honour fathers most especially responsible, hardworking and caring fathers. Many individuals took to their social media to share pictures of their fathers purposely to show some love and care. Some individuals could not celebrate the occasion as expected due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic.
In a very unique way, the day was colourfully honoured by some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) which surprise many folks.
Earlier in the day, the Female Communicators of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has flooded the former president who is currently the leader of the party H.E John Dramani Mahama’s residence with numerous gifts during today’s father’s day ceremony.
The female communicators of the NDC were spotted in white attire at the John Dramani Mahama’s residence to celebrate the father’s day with him.
According to the female communicators, John Dramani Mahama is the father and leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) hence the need to honour and celebrate his fatherhood among many fathers on such an especial occasion.
The former president who announced the news on his Facebook handle said, the NDC female communicators came to his house with beautiful gifts such as cakes, flowers and drinks to wish him a happy father’s day. According to him, the visit was a surprise to him and his family.
Mr. Mahama did not only received the female communicators but beautifully celebrate the day with them by eating and drinking together with them together with his family.
“Surprise!!
Some female communicators of my party, the NDC, today stopped by with a cake, flowers and drinks to wish me a Happy Father’s Day. Thank you comrades for the kind thoughts and prayers. Together we shall win 2020.” He disclosed.
