As you prepare to travel to Qatar, there are some items which you cannot carry into the country. Some items are legally not acceptable in Qatar.
All roads leads to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament and as all football lovers and people from all walks of life decide to embark on their journey to the Qatari land, there a number of things to take note of because there are rules in every state and for Qatar, One of such is a number of unacceptable food and other items that will not be allowed to enter the Nation.
Here in this article, we’ve put together a number of such food and other items which would not be allowed into Qatar;
1. Seeds that are edible. Edible seeds that are eaten raw or used to spice up food are not acceptable in Qatar. Some of these seeds are hemp seeds.
2. Pork. Pork is made out of pigs. It is a delicacy in other countries but is strictly prohibited in Qatar. People visiting Qatar should do away with this to avoid completely issues.
3. Alcoholic beverages and drinks. Wine, strong drink, beer, scotch, whiskey and all kinds of alcoholic products are not accepted in the country. Qatar is an Islamic country and follows their doctrines to the letter.
