The Holy Family Hospital in Techiman has announced that a team of skilled Surgeons from Operational International, Chicago, US will be visiting the hospital to provide free surgical services to patients in need in a letter dated 10th March, 2023.
The announced service according to the Holy Family Hospital in Techiman will commence from Saturday, April 22nd to Thursday, April 27th, 2023.
The initiative aims to extend specialized medical care to those who require surgeries for various conditions.
The team of experienced surgeons will offer free surgeries for the following conditions:
- Hernia (Adult and Children)
- Lumps and Bumps
- Gallbladder surgeries
- Bowel Surgeries
- Tonsils
- Adenoid
- Cleft lip and palate
- Head and Neck Masses
- Goiter
- Burns and Contractures
- Hand deformities
This diverse range of surgical procedures covers a wide spectrum of conditions, and the visiting team is equipped with the expertise to handle them with skill and care.
It’s important to note that while the surgeries will be provided free of charge, patients are required to bring their valid National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards for identification purposes. Additionally, patients will need to cover the costs associated with pre-screening, as these expenses will not be covered by the free surgical services.
