Teacher's Biometric Attendance Book System
Greater Accra Region – Gbetsile KKMA 1 JHS has adopted Biometric Attendance System to replace staff attendance book.
In a significant step towards modernization and efficiency, Gbetsile KKMA 1 Junior High School in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality has introduced a biometric attendance system. This initiative replaces the conventional staff attendance book.

During the launch, Headteacher Mr. Wisdom Koudjo Klu stated that the move to implement the biometric system was motivated not by problems with punctuality or regularity but by a commitment to align with global practices and enhance operational efficiency.
“My teachers are dedicated, punctual, and consistent in their work. Adopting a biometric attendance system marks a progression toward modern staff management,” Mr. Klu shared. “We have set ambitious goals, and this is one way to help us reach them.”
The biometric system is anticipated to improve accuracy and accountability, reinforcing the school’s dedication to innovation in educational management.

The school’s management committee praised the leadership for this progressive initiative, noting its potential to serve as a benchmark for other schools in the Kpone-Katamanso Municipality.
