GES appoints Hajia Katumi Natogmah Attah as New Northern Regional Director of Education
Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Mrs. Hajia Katumi Natogmah Attah as the New Northern Regional Director of Education.
In an official publication by the Service on 24th May 2023, Mrs. Katumi Natogmah Attah has been appointed to work at the New Northern Regional Education Directorate as the substantive Regional Director of Education.
Prior to her new appointment as the substantive Northern Regional Director of Education, Mrs. Hajia Natogmah served as the Savannah Regional Director of Education.
The new Northern Regional Director of Education rose through the ranks of the Service due to her sheer determination, and respect for the Core Values and Principles of the Service.

Mrs. Hajia Katumi Natogmah Attah’s
profile
- She (Hajia katumi) is the second female Regional Director and the first female Regional Director to hail from the Northern region.
- She holds MSc. Health Service Planning and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
- Bachelor of Education, and Diploma in Home Economics and Arts Education from the University of Education. Winneba.
- She comes with a fresh perspective and energy to create a formidable foundation for the development of Education in the Northern Region.
