GES appoints new Central Regional Director of Education
Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Mr. Emmanuel Essuman as the new Central Regional Director of Education.
PROFILE OF MR. EMMANUEL ESSUMAN
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Prior to his appointment, he was the District Director of Education, Juaboso, in the Western North Region. He has twenty-two (22) years of experience in the field of education.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Finance, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BED Population and Family Life from the University of Cape Coast.
He also holds an executive certificate in Counseling.
He has risen through the ranks of the service due to his determination to make a continuous positive impact in education. He is well-versed in data collection, analysis, and finance. He was an EMIS Officer at Asante Mampong Municipal Education Office and Kumasi Metro Education Office.
POSITIONS HELD
He has held many positions; Financial Secretary – National CODE, Financial Secretary – Western North CODE, Chairman – Western North Basic Schools Sports Federation.
FAMILY
He stands for accountability, transparency, and hard work. Mr. Emmanuel Essuman is a staunch Christian. He is married and has five (5) children.
