Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) said as part of the constitutional regulation for all Ghanaian citizens to exercise their franchise, they have permitted Form two (2) students to break from school and partake in the voter registration exercise.

In the letter, GES directed all Regional Directors of Education to kindly
communicate to all Heads of the Second Cycle Institutions within their jurisdiction for the exercise.

According to the letter signed by the Ag. Director, School and Instruction Division for Director-Director, Mr. Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, GES has granted Form 2 students who are eighteen (18) years and above the permission to go home and register for their voter ID.

The students per the release are granted three (3) days effective Friday, 22nd to Sunday, 24th September 2023 to get registered.
