GES Occupational Pension Scheme
The Ghana Education Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) Secretariat sets to embark on a virtual training exercise for all Members. The training is scheduled to cover all their Member Unions (GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT Ghana, and TEWU).
The GES Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS) is an Employer Sponsored Occupational Pension Scheme licensed by the National Pension Regulatory Authority (NPRA) in 2012 to manage the Tier 2 Pension Scheme for all educational sector workers on government payroll in the country.
As part of their annual plan to reach as many members as possible, the GES Occupational Pension Scheme Secretariat will be embarking on a virtual training exercise for all Member Unions (GNAT, NAGRAT, CCT Ghana, TEWU).
TRAINING PURPOSE
The training is to inform and educate members on the benefits of the tier 3 pension scheme under the Pensions Act (ACT 766) as amended, how they as members can derive the maximum benefit from the pension structure or the Scheme as well as address questions members may have with respect to the Tier 2 Scheme.
TRAINING DATE & TIME
The date and time scheduled for CCT Ghana’s virtual training is December 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
The Secretariat through your distinguished office invites all CCT Ghana members to participate in this exercise.
