GES releases Teaching Staff Promotion Test Results

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the Teaching Staff Promotion Test Results.

According to Management of the Ghana Education Service, the promotion test held in December 2021, to various teaching grades in the Service have been released and uploaded to the Service’s online portal/website.

In a detailed statistics, GES explained that, out of 39,918 candidates who were shortlisted for the test, 26,954 candidates representing 67.57% were
successful.

GRADE OF THE PROMOTION TEST

There were four (4) grades of the Teaching Staff Promotion Test. These are;

Deputy Director, Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II and Principal Superintendent.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR

For the Deputy Director grade, 3,538 candidates took the test, out of which 2,330 representing 65.8% were successful.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR I

For Assistant Director I, 10,950 candidates took the test with 7,785 being successful representing 71%.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR II

Candidates who sat for the promotion test to Assistant Director lI grade were 22, 101 out of which 14,541 representing 65.8% passed.

PRINCIPAL SUPERINTENDENT

For the Principal Superintendent grade, a total of 3,329 candidates were shortlisted for the test, out of which 69% being 2,298 candidates were successful.

HOW TO CHECK RESULTS

Results of those who passed the examination can be accessed on GES portal.

1. Visit the www.gespromotions.gov.gh to purchase e-voucher for promotion Exams at GH¢10 via your Momo number.

2. Return to the www.gespromotions.gov.gh

3. Select PROMOTION EXAMS

4. Click on PROMOTION EXAMS to check your promotion result online.

5. Provide your Staff ID and e-vouchour card.

6. Submit.

NOTE: According to Management of GES, the portal will be active from 6pm on Wednesday 27th April, 2022

GES again said, formal promotion letters will be released in due course.
