GES releases approved courses and Regional allocation for 2020/2021 study leave with pay

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released approved courses and Regional allocation for the 2020/2021 academic year study leave with pay for all qualified teachers who have applied for further studies.

The letter signed by the Director in charge of Human Resource and Management Division (HRMD) Mrs. Adjoa Van Vicker has directed all Regional Directors of Education to communicate the approved list to their various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Offices.

They are further directed to submit the 2020/2021 academic year study leave Returns by 30th October, 2020 to the office of the Director-General Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa at GES headquarters in Accra.

According to the notice, “Staff who enroll for further studies without study leave approval in the first Semester will be considered as having vacated post.”
