Ghana Health Service announces vacancies for Recruitment – Apply

Management of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has announced vacancies for the recruitment of Health Professionals into some key positions.

According to the declaration of vacancy announcement, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye said, serving employees of the Ghana Health Service are requested to apply for employment into some vacant positions.

The statement noted that, individuals are required to apply for recruitment into the following vacancies:

1. Deputy Director, Administration

2. Deputy Director, Estate Management

3. Deputy Director, Health Research and Development

4. Medical Director and

5. Medical Superintendents.

Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye explained that, a total number of sixty-eight (68) vacancies are available for qualified persons to occupy.

MODE OF APPLICATION

According to the advertisement, eligible and interested employees should submit, through the relevant administrative channel (s), six (6) comb-bound sets of application s accompanied with the under-listed documents in a A4 size envelope with the position being applied for written at the top right-hand corner of the envelope:

1. Application letter

2. Detailed curriculum vitae with name, addresses and telephone number of at least two (2) referees, one of whom should be a senior professional colleague.

3. Two sealed confidential reports from immediate supervisors/superior offices.

4. Copies of academic and professional certificates.

5. One-page statement on how applicant intends to respond to the Ghana Health Service mission.
