Ghana Black Stars former captain, Asamoah Gyan has graduated from a six month course he undertook in Wales.
The course was under the tutelage of the Football Association of Wales in conjunction with the Union of European Football Associations(UEFA). This saw him complete with a UEFA License B Certificate.
In a tweet sighted by CoverGhana, the former Sunderland player expressed his delight and appreciated all that supported him during the course. He further hinted on establishing a Coaching Clinic in 2023.
He tweeted; “Your new UEFA License coach is here. Thanks to all who made it possible & a special one to the Wales FA. This is just the beginning. January 2023 Coaching clinic loading.”

Asamoah Gyan is Africa’s top leading scorer at the Mundial with 6 goals to his name. He is on record to be the fastest goal scorer in the history of the World Cup in 68 seconds. He is also the all-time scorer for the Black Stars with 51 goals in 109 appearances.
With this Certificate, it is clear the path Baby Jet(as he is affectionately called) wants to take after hanging his boots.
It is expected that as he has been successful in his playing career, he would be successful in his coaching career as well.
