Burkina Faso’s Head of State, Ibrahim Traoré rejects salary of a President

The President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traoré has decided to keep his salary as a captain after being inaugurated as a President.
Earlier, Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba was the President of Burkina Faso before Captain Ibrahim Traoré removed him from office with his junior military conquest in a coup.
According to the Council of Ministers, the President want to maintain his salary as his military rank demands not as the President of Burkina Faso.
Leadership at its highest peak has being displayed by President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina. His demeanor is that of a Pan-Africanist who intends to help his nation, leave a positive legacy and improve the living standards of his people with the huge cut of his salary.
During the inugural ceremony, Ibrahim Traoré said “our aims are none other than the reconquest of territory occupied by these hordes of terrorists.”
Also, he made it clear that “Burkina’s existence is in danger” hence, with the spirit of patriotism at play, the desired change Burkinabes needs will be granted.
Ibrahim Traoré came to power through the military way. The masses of Burkina Faso applauded his courage and hope for the best because, he is a replica of Thomas Sankara who died years ago in the capital of Ouagadougou through fire arms.
