Mr. Sulemana Braimah who is the Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) has called on Government to give Citizens a breakdown of the amount spent on Covid-19.
According to the Government of Ghana, the country spent GHS19bn (about $3.4bn) in the management of Covid-19 in the country in 2020.
Following the figure put out by the Government under the leadership of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo Mr. Sulemana Braimah has called on the Government to provide a brakedown of how the amount was spent.
In a tweet, Mr. Sulemana Braimah in a tweet said;
“We are told the government spent GHS19bn (about $3.4bn) on COVID-19. Kudos. Just give us the breakdown”
