The leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has informed its general membership on failed June 2023 fund deductions.

GRNMA in its release said due to operations of the GRNMA/Nurses Fund Board in collaboration with the Controller and Accountants General’s Department (CAGD) to provide contributors of the Fund the option to pay more, June 2023 deductions have being withheld to allow the CAGD system to be updated.

In addition, they said members are to take note that, due to the June 2023 Failed Deduction, steps will be taken in July 2023 to recover the deductions for June 2023.

The deductions will be doubled done in July. The double deductions will ensure that their contributions remain up to date.

“We wish to assure all and sundry that once the process of update of the CADG system is completed, all members of the Association can opt to contribute more to their GRNMA/NURSES Fund to ensure financial security in their retirement,” they assured.
