Guinea’s President Alpha Condé arrested by mutineers who staged a Coup d’état (+Video & Photos)
The President of the Republic of Guinea Professor Alpha Condé has been arrested by mutineers.
According to the information available to Coverghana.com.gh, a group of mutineers/soldiers who staged a Coup d’état has caged Alpha Condé.
The Coup d’état occurred in Guinea Conakry today Sunday, September 5, 2021 by mutineers led by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya.

Colonel Mamady Doumbouya, who led the arrest was a former legionary of the French army who was recalled to Guinea to head the GPS created in 2018 and his men carried the act.
According to Mamady Doumbouya, the Coup d’état in Guinea and the overthrow of president Alpha Conde was as a result of rampant corruption, mismanagement and the hardship seen in the country.
Currently, Professor Alpha Conde is under military threat as they overthrown him.
