Henry James Ruggs III is a former American football wide receiver who played for the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons. He developed his football skills at the University of Alabama, where he was a crucial member of the squad that won the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship.
When the Las Vegas Raiders selected Ruggs in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, his professional career immediately took off.
Regrettably, Ruggs got involved in a horrific car accident in his second season that claimed the lives of Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog, Max. He was immediately fired by the Raiders as a result of this occurrence. On May 10, 2023, Ruggs formally pleaded guilty to the felony charges of DUI causing death and the misdemeanor charge of vehicular manslaughter. He was then given a three- to ten-year prison term in a Nevada state prison by the court.
