Herbert Wigwe, Access Bank Founder reportedly passed away in chopper crash in California

The leading financial establishment in Nigeria, Access Bank has lost its co-founder Herbert Wigwe in a chopper crash in California, U.S.
He was also the CEO of Access Holdings, the parent company of Access Bank.
The deceased is the founder of Wigwe University. Reports have it that he has allegedly passed away in a helicopter crash in California, U.S.
Reports available for our news desk have it that Mr. Wigwe, his wife, son and three (3) other passengers were on board before the sad accident.

The chopper according to the report was going to Las Vegas when it crashed near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.
Reaching the authorities, the US government confirmed that no survivors had been discovered as of Saturday morning.
It means the passengers on board count six (6). Access Bank Founder and his family (wife and son) and the three (3) other passengers.
The New York Times has confirmed the incident but did not name the passengers.
The unfortunate occurrence according to the United States Federal Aviation Administration reports that the helicopter, Eurocopter EC130 crashed around 10:00 pm local time. The accident happened near Nipton, California, an unincorporated community about 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.
Mara Rodriguez, a public information officer with the department, disclosed that the officials at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were informed about downed aircraft at 10:12 pm, local time.
She added that the scene of the crash was determined to be east of Interstate 15, near Halloran Springs Road.
The bank, Access Bank they have not received any official update form the States. They added that they will not hesitate to update customers and the general public when they receive updates on the situation.
