A young teacher in Kenya has ended his life as his girlfriend breaks up with him and demands for burial on Val’s Day.
The painful and heartbreaking incident happened on Wednesday, 7th February 2024 to a young teacher from Embu County, Kenya. The young man before passing away left a note that details how and what pushed him including his burial schedule.
The young teacher lamented in the note that despite reaching out to seventeen (17) individuals about his troubled relationship, none had extended a listening ear /or offered guidance. The lady also ignored him after several apologies.
“I’ve begged (the ex-girlfriend), but my pleas have fallen on deaf ears,” he expressed with regret.
In the note, he said had taken away his life because his ex-girlfriend had rejected him. The note also has it that he (the deceased) took off his life because could not lay his eyes on the person he once loved. The thought of seeing the girl he once fell in love with now going out with another man is a load his heart cannot carry and endure the associated pains.

Another aspect of the note detailed how he wanted his funeral service to be held. He stated that he preferred they lay his body to rest on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
“Just decided to rest in pe.a.ce. I have tried all means but it has been in vain,” he ends the note.
As it stands, the family and the police force are investigating the issue before onward decisions will be taken for the burial and associated concerns for a peaceful rest of the lost soul.
