Hon. Alexander Gabby Hottordze delivers on a promise made to an Assin North Voter
The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Gabby Hottordze, has delivered on a promise he made to a disappointed voter in the Assin North Constituency.
The voter, a supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was left disillusioned after her party lost the 2020 elections to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Hon. Hottordze, who represents the NDC, promised the voter that he would vote for the NDC candidate in the constituency, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson, in exchange for a sewing machine for her to learn a trade, which had been her desire for a long time.
True to his word, Hon. Hottordze has delivered on his promise, and the sewing machine has been handed over to the beneficiary, Madam Beatrice Ziegbe. T
he machine was presented to Madam Ziegbe, who is the wife of Togbe Kakrada of Mafi Kpogadzi, at the D/A Primary School in Krofofrondo Electoral Area in the Assin North Constituency of the Central Region. She will now hand it over to the voter who was promised the machine.
The gesture by Hon. Hottordze has been widely applauded by many Ghanaians, who have commended him for his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents. Some have described him as a role model for other politicians to emulate.
Hon. Hottordze’s delivery on his promise is a clear indication that he is not just a politician who makes empty promises, but one who is committed to the welfare of his constituents.
