Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu organizes mock examination for 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in his Constituency.
The annually sponsored MP’s special mock Examination for BECE candidates has commenced sturdily in all basic schools across the North Tongu District and expected to end on Tuesday 16th August, 2022.
The Former Deputy Minister for Education Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has instituted this testing regime for both public and private schools in his beloved constituency to put candidates writing BECE at pole position to face the main examination to be conducted by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) later in the year.
Since Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa becomes the MP, he has since used this mechanism to test the preparedness of BECE candidates and even predict the outcome of the main examination using the special mock as case study.
This isn’t the only intervention, in record past he has donated mathematical sets to all BECE candidates being it public or private. This, he intentionally done to ameliorate the economic hardships placed on parents. This goes a long way to give the candidates a sound state of mind to write their future examination.
A total of 1,972 candidates from 78 schools are currently writing this year’s MP’s Special Mock. Out of the stated figure, public schools candidates are 1,611 and private schools candidates are 361.
The MP congratulates teachers at all levels who have devoted their time, energy and to some extent resources to ensure the success of the MP’s vision.
Ablakwa says, may God bless the efforts of everyone especially teachers and officers from North Tongu Education Directorate for their support in ensuring successful examination.
