The members of the Supreme Committee and Legacy delegation for Qatar 2022 World Cup, led by Samuel Eto’o are set to visit Ghana and other Sub- Saharan African countries who will be competing in the upcoming World Cup 2022.
Samuel Eto’o, a former player for the Cameroon National team and current President for the Cameroon Football federation is the Qatar Legacy Ambassador and is the leader for the delegation embarking on this tour.
Some countries on the list for this all important visit include Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana. The team will visit all other sub-Saharan African countries who have qualified and will be playing in the Qatar World Cup, 2022.
The visit is to allow the Qatar Legacy delegation ample time for them to engage in thorough discussions in relation to preparations for the World Cup with the various Football federations of such countries.
The Legacy team will also engage with the Football supporters and the Media in each country they visit.
