The Member of Parliament for the South Tongu Constituency Hon Kobena Mensah Woyome presented 3 packets of iron sheets to the people of Kpodzadzi.
This is in fulfilment of a request made by the community to the MP and other stakeholders during their community festival.
This is to help them roof the classroom block to habitats their wards who are disposed to bad weather either in the dry or raining seasons.
The community members were elated that, the MP was able to remember them in times like this.
They admonished his all times assistance to the the community in the areas of electricity, water among others.
The people acknowledged his assistance in lobbying for the GetFund 3 units classroom block which is still uncompleted to accommodate the pupils.
They however appealed to him to engage the contractor of the GetFund project to know the state of work and preferably use the roofing sheets to roof the GetFund project rather for the pupils to study under since is obvious that, fund is the challenge to the completion of the project.
On his part, the MP accepted the call to speak to the contractor on the way forward for the GetFund project.
He promised to first speak to the local engineer to see if contract variation could be than in that regard so he can provide any other assistance needed so as to be able to support the roofing of the GetFund project to assist in delivery of sound education to the kids.
He also used the platform to remind the community to remember all the good things the leader of the NDC party his excellency JDM has done to them and was still doing before leaving power so that they don’t forget him in the fourth coming general election.
