The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results for the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) school Candidates.

The provisional result which was released by WAEC, according to them will be dispatched to the various schools through District/Municipal/Metropolitan Directors of Education.

Meanwhile, many graduates are facing it very difficult to calculate the aggregate scored after checking their results.

According to the West African Examination Council (WAEC), this can be calculated using the four (4) main core subjects and any two (2) best subjects making six subjects in all.

Parents and recent Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates should please note that to calculate the aggregate score, they are ro add the following grades:

CORE:

1. English Language

2. Mathematics

3. Social Studies

4. Integrated Science

OTHER SUBJECTS

After adding the four (4) core subjects, you are expected to add any two best grades from the other subjects.

AUTOMATIC RUN OFF

The next stage of the process is the automatic run of the placement.
According to WAEC, dates will be announced  in due course.
