The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has commenced the implementation of the Electronic Transfer Levy on 1st May, 2022.

According to GRA, transfers from Bank account to Momo account of same person or transfers from MoMo account to Bank account of same person will not be charged E-levy.

But, before this can happen, individuals account holders have to link their Bank accounts and the Momo account with the Ghana Card.

After that, make sure, you link your Momo account to your Bank account to avoid paying E-levy when ever you do any transfer/transaction.
