The dreadlocks student who was denied admission at the Achimota School says, he is so disappointed he was denied admission by the authorities of the school.
Tyron Marghuy, a Rastafarian student who was speaking at Joy News PM Express monitored by Coverghana.com.gh said, he wished to be giving an admission into the school like any other dreadlocks students attending school in Ghana.
Tyron Marghuy believes that, he do not think it is necessary to cut his hair before being offered admission into the prestigious Achimota School.
He again disclosed that, his siblings were given admission into St. John’s Grammar Senior High School and had attended school for two days since school resumed but he case was different.
On 19th March, 2021, the father of on dreadlocks or Rastafarian Raswad menkrabea disclosed on a social media that, the authorities of the prestigious Achimota School has denied his son admission into the school.
Though, the Ghana Education Service has earlier directed the authorities of Achimota School to admit Rastafarians into the school, they have since denies the directive to enroll the young intellectual students.
