Information picked by Coverghana.com.gh suggest that, the Inspector General of Police COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare will be visiting the three Tongu enclaves thus; North Tongu, South Tongu and Central Tongu Constituencies of the Volta Region.
According to sources, the IGP will start his visit from Aveyime-Battor on Thursday, 18th November, 2021 around 6:00am.
The IGP together with his delegation will also visit Battor Traditional Council to have an engagement with Togbega Patamia Dzekley VII, the Paramount Chief of Battor Traditional area who doubles as the Vice President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs.
COP George Akuffo Dampare will proceed with his visit to the South Tongu District. He has been scheduled to engage some key stakeholders in the District.
Our sources further confirmed that, the IGP and his men are likely to visit the Central Tongu District and other parts of the Volta Region before returning to Accra.
The IGP will interact with the operational force brought to fight off western Togoland forces in Tongu.
