The debate among members of the two main political parties in Ghana thus; the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on the implementation of policies in the interest of the youth or policies that favour the Ghanaian youth is on the rise.
Some few weeks ago, the Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a statement issued by its National Youth Organizer Henry Nana Boakye has outlined some sixty (60) achievements of President Akufo-Addo’s government for the youth. The NDC and some Ghanaians have descended heavily on the NPP Youth Wing soon after the list of President Akufo-Addo’s youth policies have been published.
In responding to the issue, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reiterated that, he is very committed to the development of the youth evident in the implementation of longterm policies aimed at educating, training, equipping and providing lucrative job opportunities for the youth.
The President who was addressing the leadership of the NPP Youth Wing at the Jubilee House has admonished the youth to focus on issue-based politics and also promised to support the Youth Wing in its core activities especially as the Wing plays its role towards the 2020 elections.

The National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye Nana-B led a delegation of NPP Youth Wing including his deputies Joseph Kwajaya and Perpetual Lomokie Akwada, Regional Youth Organizers, National TESCON co-ordinator and some officers at the National Youth Wing secretariat, who paid a courtesy call on H.E the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.
