An alarming twist to this campaign has to do with a Twitter fracas involving the host of Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana show Paul Adom Otchere and the General Manager of  GH-ONE TV, Nana Aba Anamoah. The award winning newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah responded to Paul Adom Otchere’s earlier tweet mounting defence for the ruling government  “For once, be bold and tell this administration led by Nana Akufo-Addo to fix the country and stop dragging others in”.

Apparently, #FIX THE COUNTRY CAMPAIGN is not going to die prematurely with the founding president and Chief Executive Officer of IMANI Policy and Education, Mr. Franklin Cudjoe also joining the campaign.

The social commentator and author,  sarcastically is equally in support of the counter hashtag fix yourself and fix your attitude campaign however he is vehemently calling on the government to heed to the cry by the thousands of Ghanaians asking the current leadership of the country to get our numerous problems fixed.

“I agree some of us (including my good self) are terribly vile, cheating and sinful persons, so I will respect the counter tags  #FixYourSelf and #FixYourAttitude as they are directed at those who seek answers. Dear government, all the citizens are saying to you is  #FixTheCountry because you begged for power and got it, not to tell them they should shut up. True, you are Fixing, but it does appear the Fixing needs some super speed. I have faith in you, but let us #FixTheCountry.” Franklin Cudjoe writes.
