The international Monetary fund (IMF) has again decreased the initial growth rate of Ghana from 1.6% in July 2023 to 1.2% recently.

This is Consequently from the deceleration of the economic instability which has garnered a lot of concerns on the country’s  economic stability and the need for the implementations of constructive policies and measures to harness stimulate the economic growth.

The growth rate was predicted by the (IMF) in April this year to be 2.8 according to their World Economic Outlook Reports but the current deteriorating report indicates the Country is farther away the predicted growth rate.

The main factors for these according to the fund is the effect of the Russia and Ukrainian war which has slowed down the global economy and also high indebtedness on the side of the country.
