Interdicted Heads of SHSs have not been reinstated, investigations are still ongoing – GES
Dr Eric Nkansah
Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that the interdicted 11 head teachers are under investigation hence, the public should disregard circulating news that they have been reinstated.
In a public post, GES said
“Investigations on the interdicted Heads of Senior High Schools are still ongoing.
“Kindly disregard any false information of their reinstatement.
“Management assures all stakeholders and the public that the outcome of the investigations will be made known to all when completed.”
It could be recalled that GES served “step aside” letters to some SHS Heads due to unauthorized charging of fees during the registration period of SHS 1 students.
The incident caught the attention of the management of GES hence, suspension letters were served to that effect immediately.
