Israel Laryea shares his experience of the legendary Albert Boateng Bediako

Albert Boateng Bediako passed away in 2018. He was a film and television producer, brand activist, and voice-over artist. Israel Laryea recently learned of Albert’s passing and decided to pay tribute to the legendary figure he admired.

Israel with admiration recalls Albert as the main voice-over performer featured in almost every big radio and television jingle and commercial in 1999. According to Israel,

“His voice was on all the new Ghanaian movies that were being promoted.”

Israel vividly recalls the occasions when he encountered Albert in the sound-dubbing studio at TV3, where Albert, a true master of his craft, didn’t require much time in the recording booth.

At the studio, Israel was more than willing to step aside to allow Albert to work, as it offered him a valuable opportunity to witness a seasoned professional in action and possibly learn a thing or two.

We learn about Albert Boateng Bediako’s lasting influence through thw likes of Israel Laryea, not only as a talented artist but also as a mentor who encouraged others in the field.
