Itinerary of President Akufo-Addo’s visit to Volta Region, September 2022

The itinerary of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s visit to Volta Region in September 2022 has been released.

According to the information, the president has a two-day visit to the Volta Region starting from Monday, 12th September, 2022 to Tuesday, 13th September, 2022 respectively.

President Akufo-Addo is expected to commission some key projects in the Volta on visit to the area.


Day 1 – Monday, 12th September, 2022

The itinerary explained that, the President shall be in Ho by 10:00am for the opening of ceremony of the Ghana Bar Association Annual Conference.

By 12:00am, he will be live on Stone City Radio, Ho for a Radio interview. There shall be a packed lunch at 12:30pm.

President Akufo-Addo will also do Inspection of Eastern Corridor Road (No Durbar) at Kpeve in South Dayi District at exactly 1:00 pm and Inspection of South Dayi Agenda 111 Hospital Project (No Durbar) at Kpeve, South Dayi.

The President with his entourage shall place a courtesy call on the Chief of the Akpani Traditional Area in Kpando and Inspection of Steel Bridge at 2:00pm.

He will be in Ho in the Ho Central to meet with MMDCEs/Regional Executives/Constituency Chairmen at 6:00pm and Ministerial/Presidential cocktail party for Ghana Bar Association members at 7:00pm.

Day 2 – Tuesday, 13th September, 2022

On day 2, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will visit the 66 Artillery Regiment Military Barracks in Ho at 9:40am.

Inspection of Ghana Secondary Cities Support Program shall take place in the Ho Central Market at exactly 10:20am.

He will depart for Aflao, for the commissioning of Aflao Community Day School (No Durbar) at Aflao in Ketu South at 12:20pm.

President Akufo-Addo will depart from Aflao to North Tongu and place a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Battor Traditional Area at 3:00pm.

He will then proceed to commission the North Tongu District Magistrate Court at Battor, at the North Tongu District capital at 3:40pm.

The President is expected to depart for Accra around 4:00pm of Tuesday, 13th September, 2022.
