John Mahama Donates GH¢1.3m to Support NDC Constituency Elections.

The National Democratic Congress as part of preparations for the 2024 general elections has began making arrangements for internal elections within the party to select leaders who would steer their affairs into the general elections and Ex President Mahama has made a generous donation to help make this successful.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) opened nominations not long ago to allow interested and qualified members file for various positions both at constituency and Regional level.

The former President of the Republic of Ghana and NDC flag-bearer for the 2020 Presidential Election, H.E John Dramani Mahama has today, 20th October, 2022 donated an amount of GHS10,000 to the party for this course. This amount is to be spent on each of the 138 orphan constituencies of the party (a total of GHS1,380,000) to support the conduct of constituency elections coming off this weekend.

The party has expressed its utmost gratitude through the National Communications officer, Sammy Gyamfi, to His Excellency for this gesture as well as his immense support for the great NDC.
