John Mahama to Develop a $3Billion Digital Technology Industry

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress has outlined how he will develop Ghana’s information Technology Industry.
John Dramani Mahama in his 2024 Resetting Ghana Manifesto stated that he intends to help develop a $3bn digital technology industry in Ghana.
He explained that a new government under his leadership will partner with the private sector in developing the digital technology industry to help create jobs for the youth.

John Dramani Mahama in a statement stated “Let me share my plan for growth with you, my fellow Ghanaians, as outlined in the Resetting Ghana Manifesto.
We believe that implementing a 24-hour economy for business development and job creation can boost our economy and create prosperity for all Ghanaians. But this initiative is not my only plan.
There is also the women’s development bank, the introduction of the national apprenticeship programme and the development of a $3bn digital technology industry in partnership with the private sector. “
