Mr. Joseph Yamin, National Organiser, NDC, has made some revelations on how the decision was taken to change the leadership of the party in Parliament.
Mr Yamin told the Ghana News Agency that the decision “was well-thought through” and “the best way for us to go.”
Yamin made the remarks when the leadership of the various political parties met with the Ghana Peace Council in Accra on January 26, 2023.
Mr Joseph Yamin said“It was a decision taken by the Party, well thought through and so we all have to support the decision of the Party and embrace it.
“This is a FEC decision and FEC has that power…it was a collective decision.”
BACKGROUND
The opposition National Democratic Congress changed it’s leadership in Parliament. This reshuffle includes the Majority Leader Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the chief whip, deputy Chief whips among other portfolios.
