JUST IN: Ighalo set to leave Manchester United

Manchester United is on the search for a strong and vibrant striker with Ighalo set to move back to his Chinese club on Sunday.

Agbenyo revealed that, Shanghai Shenua have offered the 30 year old striker, who found the back of the net for Manchester United four times after eight appearances, a new contract which will see him accumulate an amount of £75million over four years.

The Nigerian international joined the premier league side on a four month loan deal from Chinese side Shanghai Shenua to provide cover for injured Marcus Rashford.

Even though most of the United fans weren’t initially happy with the move, Ighalo has already won the heart of United fans all over the world after scoring four goals in just eight appearances. This made him prove that he can do the job United really wants from a striker.

However, man united could sign the striker on a permanent deal but Shanghai have place a price tag of £20 on the former Watford man and United is not keen on a permanent contract.

With the Chinese League to start next month, Shanghai is eager to have her Nigerian international back, offering him a new three and half year contract, that will run until January 1st, 2024 which is worth £400,000 per week.
