Kasoa Ritual Murder: Mahama, NDC donate GH¢10,000 to family of the deceased

Former President John Dramani Mahama-led National Democratic Congress has made a financial assistance to the family of the 10 year old young boy who was allegedly killed by some two teenagers in Kasoa for rituals.

Earlier today, the 2020 Vice Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has, on behalf of Former President John Dramani Mahama and the party, made a token donation of GH¢10,000.00 to the family of the 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah who’s life was allegedly taken by some teenagers.

The money was presented to the family today Tuesday, 13th April, 2021 as Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang led a delegation from NDC to commiserate with the mother and family of the the deceased in Amanfrom near Kasoa.

Reports available suggest that, the Kasoa Divisional Police Command has since made an arrest of the killers and some suspects in connection with the murder.

According to the Police, the two suspects, Felix Nyarko, 16 and Nicholas Kini, 17, after inviting the deceased to an uncompleted building, hit him with a club and cement blocks, killing him instantly and cut off his ears.

The police prosecutor in the ritual murder case at Kasoa says, the two suspects who allegedly killed 10 year old Ishmael Mensah were inspired after watching a spiritualist on a national television.

But, the renowned Professor and astuete politician Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang in a statement said, this despicable episode demands national soul searching and an honest enquiry into the direction of our country.

“I wanted to work from Home” ; Bank Teller claims after he was caught attempting to steal money.

“Even as a mother and grandmother, I do not pretend to fully comprehend what my fellow mother is going through at this moment save to offer prayers and words of sincere sympathy. May Allah grant solace and strength to the bereaved family particularly in this holy month of Ramadan.” He explained.
